Ms Gen Math provides support and remediation in Mathematics for Mainstream Primary Level Students with Learning Differences.

Ms Genevieve has worked extensively with students who have specific learning differences (SpLD) such as,

Attention Deficit Disorder

Dyslexia

Dyscalculia

As well as students with Mild Autism, Global Developmental Delay
and Speech Delay.

She has worked with students from mainstream, special and international schools. Students with SpLD have benefited from her one-to-one coaching as each lesson is tailored to their individual needs and abilities.

Ms Genevieve recognises the importance of parents' support in her students learning. As such, she works closely with parents and share how they can support their child at home.

Graduating with a specialisation track in Early Intervention in 2012,
Ms Genevieve began working with mainstream primary level students with Specific Learning Differences (SpLD). She noticed that the needs of students with SpLD were not addressed by general tutors or group tuition, and sought to bridge the gap by working on each student as individuals.

Ms Genevieve, fondly known as Teacher Gen, is the founder and director of Ms Gen Math. She has done several professional courses including:

Ms Genevieve has also worked at the Dyslexia Association of Singapore as an Educational Therapist; where she taught Problem Solving classes for Upper Primary and provided remediation and support for the Primary Level students there.

These professional experiences has helped Ms Genevieve to better understand her students and their learning needs. She believes in meeting students at where they are at, and guiding them to their best potential. Ms Genevieve's gentle and mindful way of teaching has seen many students who had an aversion to Mathematics slowly warm up towards the subject too!
